Baskets Cleaning &
Rehousing
Spicer Art Conservation, LLC created a small team of
additional conservators to work on the large basket
collection for the Department of Interior. The collection
represented baskets made by Native Americans from North
America. The collection was acquired by the Department
of Interior in the 1930's.
The four months work was all performed on-site at their
storage facility in Landover, MD. A room was set aside for
our use that was connected with the storage area.
